πΎ Wildlife
Elephants are active here sometimes. So avoid going in the dark. Exit before it gets dark.
If you see locals while going, mention to them that you're going to the hill and ask for recent elephant activity.
I have seen a lot of elephant dung here, but never spotted or heard an elephant. They are more active during the harvest season.
Trail description
A small through-cave with a shrine. I stress on "through" because you can enter on one side and climb out of it on the other side! [video β]. This cave can fit 10-odd people if they're all crouching.
Small cave
The hike is pretty easy, just follow the trail map. Enter the cave and look right for the shrine. If you go straight in for a few metres, you see light at the other end. You can climb out on top of the cave from here. Be watchful of the thorny plants while climbing out. Retrace this climb to go back down into the cave. Don't try to jump off the top, because that's risky. You don't want an injured ankle at this spot.
Climbing out on top of the cave is optional. Make a call based on how comfortable you feel climbing up the cave hole.
Cleanliness
This trail is pretty clean and mostly known only to the locals.
Crowd
You won't see anyone here even on a weekend.
