Overview

This trail is a perfect example of hidden in plain sight! It's a hill that's in a fairly well-known area, but almost no one hikes up this hill! The top gives you a great view all around and has a lot of big boulders and a low cave to explore around.

Trail description

The trail start from a wide mud road and leads in a tiny patch of forest, which then opens up into a rocky hike with almost no shade (so it's best done early morning or on a cloudy day).

Most of the trail itself is pretty straightforward almost all the way to the top.

Boulder maze

The hill top is loosely split into two spots.

One, the closer one is mostly flat and have some bushes.

The other spot is to the left and has a lot of big boulders. And a really low cave.

The low cave

It's about 20 feet long, but you'll have to do a low crawl with your kness and elbows touching the ground. The entry to the cave is quite precarious, so don't crowd the entry.

🌦️ Season

Any season. Best time is monsoon, i.e. June-October, because there's not much shade.

Other times of the year should be fine too, but since it will be hot carry plenty of water and plan to start early in the morning.

🎟️ Permit

No permit required

🐾 Wildlife

We did not notice signs of any wildlife to get worried about.

Cleanliness

Very clean. Almost no signs of trash. It looks like even the locals don't up this hill very often. Except maybe some goat herders.
