What
Exploratory hike around this lake. About 2 hours (~85 km) away from Central Bangalore towards the North.
We hike, we swim in the lake and chill around till late afternoon 🌅
Eligibility
This is for you if you:
- have fitness with the ability to walk 2-3 kms on easy-moderate terrain

Transport
- The spot is about 2 hours from Cubbon towards North Bangalore (exact location and pick up point will be shared after you sign up)
- Cost of transport is included in the price of the hike (but you will have to reach the pick up point yourself).
Itinerary
- 6:00 am - 🚙 Start from Bangalore (ideally eat before you start or carry packed lunch with you; we won't stop for lunch on the way)
- 8:30 am - 🥾Reach trailhead and kickoff the hike with a short briefing
- 11:00 am - ⛰️ Chill near the hilltop
- 1:30 pm - 🧘 Rest or chill, read, nap or take a dip in the water 🌊
- 5:00 pm - 🚗 Start heading back to the city
- Based on traffic and your home location you will reach home around 8-9 pm
Inclusions
- 🧭 Safety and guidance on the trail
- 🔥 Shreshth will carry cooking equiment + fuel (ideally only to heat water for tea or coffee)
- 🛟 Two life-jackets to be shared among new and non-swimmers
- ⛺ Tent for changing into swimming clothes

- 🍱 An empty lunchbox to pack food from the restaurant where we stop for breakfast
- 🍴 Spork/spoon+fork
- ☕ A reusable cup or mug for tea/coffee
- 🧢 Sunhat
- 🕶️ Sunglasses
- 🔦 Headlamp (please bring if you have one)
